I have three birdnest lime green and a purple. The purple I guess seems fine very dark purple hairy flows in the wind. I can see white tips so I assume it's working out

Now I had got a decent sized lime green one with lots of branch
I Frag it about two months ago. It was very lime green when i got it.
Now one of them is tan still hairy and flowing but tan and a little green . The other half is green with a little tan
There half way up the tank in a 24g aquapod under a 150w mh with a 14k Hamilton bulb

How old it the bulb? It might be time to change the bulb. What are your NO3 and PO4 at? You might need to add actinic spectrum to get them to color up.

Bulb is maybbe a 2 months at the most. And I can't seem to find a coat effective way to add the blue to support not just replace the whole fixture and I like the mh

Not sure there is an inexpensive way. I was thinking of a couple of Stunner strips or T5HO bulbs in a DIY Canopy. Not sure how you hood is setup but it might be able to handle the Stunners.

I agree adding actinic or blue lighting may help the coral to color up.
