Sorry I dont have pics. I recently purchased a monti and it came via mail today, I was finishing putting it in the tank when I realized on it was some sorta spider looking thing... I took it out of the tank and put it in the bucket of the water from the other bags, swished it around and took a flash light and it was not there. Is there any suggestions of what IT could be?

I cant find it in the tank anywhere incase it jumped off and I couldnt find it in the water from the bag. I wanna say its body was about the size of a pin head and it looked like it had 8 legs. or less. Haha Was to freaked out to count. Please post suggestions and Ill look up pics!

Did it some out of rock? I believe there are snails that live in rock and stick little legs out to collect food, but someone here can tell you exactly what they are.

    sorry

it could have been a gammarid amphipod, they are good for the tanks but are real weird looking.

Hmm The arrow crab looks closest so far... Possible for them to come smaller then a dime legs included? If so I've never seen one that small.
