    Was it a Sea Spider? I've only had one to date and he was tiny, looks kind of like a regular spider, but nastier ;D

    Ew... yes, Thats what it almost looked like more so then an arrow crab... Either way, if it was a sea spider or small arrow crab, was it good i got rid of it (thinks he did)

    I am fairly certain they are not reef safe, I got rid of the one I had. Better safe than sorry, especially when something looks like that! ;)

    Well Ill be scouting my tank for the next few days, I think i got rid of it though. I didnt see anything fall off when I took it out of the tank, and inspected it pretty thuroughly when putting it back...

    Sea spiders (pycnogonids) are most definitely not reef safe

    If it was tiny, maybe one of your fish will eat it? Just saying. Or it could have fallen off somewhere and died. I'd keep an eye out for a while.
