black and red hermit reef safe?

    i recently went to a new lfs and the guy sold me hermits that are black with red coloring on the fronts of the legs. are these buggers reef safe?

    I have one that has gray legs with reddish orange spots. If thats the same they are reef safe....I only have the one though. He is in a conch shell about 2 inches long. I think he is getting ready to move into an even larger shell...he has been rolling the larger shell around like he did when he moved into this one.....time to pitch him....

    I don't like large hermits period. If they are big enough to see the color, they are too big=)

    they are definitely black with red ... the reds is on the front edge of the legs its a thin line

    Mine are all red and they do just dandy...one of them just moved into a big empty mexican turbo shell so now he thinks he is a hoss, lol. The funny thing though is he can barely even drag the shell around the tank but he refuses to leave it.

    yeah i have red legs and blue legs already and some blue knee crabs but this guy gave me black ones with red ...ive never seen them before. i just dont want my corals to disappear theyr doing so good
