Does anyone know how some people get the black light effect in their tank to make corals with color "pop"... I know using an actual black light like the ones for posters isn't safe...

Where and how can I find what people are using...

    thanks,
    Ryan

well from the looks of it is is a camera effect, the actual tank is using attinics. You can see the color fluctuate from time to time from the camera.
    that is wild though.

Good point... I did see the colors fluctuate... but man... you can't help but drool a little bit over it...
There has to be some kind of "safe" led light that offers a color causing a similar "black light" effect...

I use sunpaq dual spectrum 420/460 bulbs. They make things glow more than normal actinics. My LFS uses them for that reason.
