Your coral....is having a hard time because of the cycle. If you want to be told the very best thing to do, take it back to the LFS and have them hold it for you if they will untill the cycle is complete.

It's all good. Normally I would say welcome to America, now speak English LOL but you are trying and I would have never known if you didn't say something. Good luck!

It may not be a coral, it look sort of like a sponge cluster. I would run the lights and hope for the best.

    Thanks,
So many different advice some people told me to turn off lights when cycling which I love advice and learning from it.
Turn on my lights today and will start a day/ night routine.
    Thanks again:)

it is a hitchhiker and is probably either stressed or dead. If it came in on live rock, often times, live rock is shipped dry, wrapped in newspaper, or maybe nothing at all. There will be die-off and a curing time. You'll be lucky to have a live coral show up on a live rock, and if and when it does, your tank still has to go through the "curing" process.

Do small water changes, and turn on your lights. There isn't much else you can do at this point except keep an eye on things. If it survives, then consider yourself lucky. If it's a GSP, they are pretty hardy and it may actually survive. It's best to just be patient and wait it out.

    Can't totally agree with you......

I had 5 differesnt kinds of corals that grew off of my live rock and survived and look great now. Corals are alot stronger that most people think. I had a few bubble corals, 2 different zoa's, and 2 others that I don't know what they are and they keep growing and growing. It seems like LPS are the ones that survive best IME.

sorry, but I said it would either be *stressed* or dead... so you don't agree that it would be stressed if shipped on dry rock? ;)
