    Hypo is ok for a FOWLR. Fish are healthier at lower salinity levels, corals and inverts are not. Which why hyposalinity is good for ridding your fish of parasites.

    this is what i did and it worked for the most part. except the bristleworms. that was a pain

    id boil the rocks you have now. it kill anything inside them, on them. then let them air dry or soak them in a high salinity water treatment, or freshwater. there is so much you can do haha

    I understand that, but aren't stressed fish more likely to get ich?

    like guttingras asked are you using ro/di water, I didn't at first and had bad cyano probs. started slowing changing over and after about 2 months of 10g biweekly changes all ro/di water in tank now and now probs.
