black slug with shell??

    The 2nd one is a chiton.
    First pic is too blurry to tell, possibly some kind of slug by description.

    just added some macro algae to the tank and i've seen two more stomatella's moving around. the bigger of the new two has a pretty purple shell...

    SushiGirl, it almost looks like this photo here only with much less coloration. The slug was too small to notice the false polyps on it's rear and was approximately 1/2in in length. Also, the "horns" were black in color, not brown.
    Any Id on this - maybe could start a new thread :)

    i have a couple of them i think they do more work then snails u buy at the lfs
