    Pairing Black/White and Regular Ocellaris

Is it ok to put a black/white ocellaris and regular ocellaris clown together as a pair, (small juvi).

Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks.

I can't say no for sure but as I have learned if they are not the same then no. Maybe someone else can give you a definite answer for sure. How big is your tank by the way?

I had a Maroone and an Ocellaris in the same tank. I introduced them at the same time and never had a problem. I did notice that the Ocellaris never went too close to the Maroone.....except when feeding8)

When the fish mature there will most likely be problems. I would decide which you want and not get the others. They will fight to the death when they are trying to pair up and mate.

If they're the same species, there should be no problems pairing them.

I was saying if they put multiple pairs of clowns together. Things will be fine until sexual maturity, then the fighting will most likely(strange things do happen) start.

When you see all the different styles of clownfish, it is very tempting to put them all together. It is not worth waking up to find dead fish. I had three different tanks set up so that I could have three different kinds of clowns. It can be addictive.
