Yeah, I wouldn't buy one unless I knew it ate something other than pods. This one eats Ocean Nutrition pellets and live brine. I'm trying to get it eating mysis too.

I figured I'd give an update on my tank, since it's been quite a while.

I lost most of my acans a little while ago, after raising magnesium to try and kill a case of bryopsis. The bryopsis didn't die off from the magnesium levels, but has been outcompeted by a mix of chaeto and cyano growing in a box at the back of my tank, and a couple mangroves. The other corals that got somewhat bleached are gaining back coloration now that my mag is down to 1450.

I added a very small purple tang to the tank. He's about 2 inches right now - the only reason I would do that lol. If I don't have an upsized tank by the time he gets around 4", I'm going to get rid of him.

I also got a couple of acros recently. I figured I'd try a pair, since I have had 0 nitrates and phosphates since that box in the back started doing its thing.

The pearl bubble coral has had the fastest growth of all my corals. It's probably 8" across now.

I decided to take a few pictures today, while I was getting some pics of the new corals for reference. I turned the exposure down by mistake, but fixed them with Picasa.

Thanks a lot! I found this chalice at the Pacific East Aquaculture booth at a frag swap in PA a couple months ago. I got lucky it was still there. ;D

    Thanks!

Thanks! They're anywhere from doing really well (the ORA Bellina) to the low side of iffy (Suharsonoi). The Suharsonoi is a bit more delicate than the others, though, so he said he wouldn't expect it to extend polyps for at least a few days.

I thought that looked like an ORA Bellina. Very nice! I love those.
