    Hi Jason:

Well there is a small problem with that. I decided golf was more important than building a sump while the weather held. The summer project turned into a fall project.

The good news is that this Friday is the big day. I've 99% finished the sump/refug (there are some pictures of it on the site.). I just have to drill it and add some egg crate. I've got a local fish guy coming by this Friday to help complete the installation. Since the sump is in the basement and I'm running power for the lights from the basement up the middle of the overflow and I've never done a set up like this, I thought a little local talent is in order for insurance against a big whoops. Sump, pump, plumbing, skimmer, power, sand, rock, lights, salt and good old H2O are all happening in under 48 hours.
Someone talk me out of it... Please! ;) I'm cutting a hole in the dining room floor for Cripes sake. I've got 4"x4" beams in the basement. Help, the madness has me. :D
Anyway, you bet I'll be posting more pictures over the next few days and months. This monster is going to have to age for a while before it sees any live stock beyond live rock.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

Later and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,

    Bruce
