    Hello everyone,

I bought a new blasto like two days ago..and till now it didnt open up.
I did acclimate it for 30 minutes, I tried to put it in the shades and low flow area but still it is all closed up...everything in the aquarium is doing fine ...but blasto

Does it usually take that long for a blasto to settle in aquarium?

    Regards,
    Omar Sukhon

yes, they can take a while. All my blasto colonies like med-high flow and low to moderate light.

you mention low flow. mine do poorly in low flow.

Well I moved it ...but I can still see the bones.

Please note it was healthy in the LFS but the minute i got it out of the bag i can see the spines poking out of the corals...:S should i be worried?

It has simply retracted totally into it's home :) give it a week or so and it should be fine.
