the tips of my purple acro went white a month ago, no PE as well, should I cut them and see if the polys come back out?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
White tips can be new growth.

White tips can also be burnt from swings in ALK. It can also be STN.

An image would help to ID if it's new growth or just skeleton.

Tried taking some pic last night but they came out blurry, I will try again tonight. But I just noticed today that one of the top of the tip is getting the purple back, hopefully thats a good sign.

After the lights out today, I see some pod like creatures on the SPS, would they be the reason? I blasted them away with a turkey blaster

is the coral that you have on your video this coral? If so, leave them alone. Unfortunately i could not see what you say on the video (have my work laptop) but they look alright to me. Unless it is completely bleached white and spreading best to leave them be.

Something might have burned them, however seeing new purple growth is a good sign
