    When i first got it

I've been feeding it every 1 or 2 days mix of shrimp and squid consistently for 6 months, i've been expecting it to be more colored up than this :-/
It has grown considerably in size but the color is either same or just SLIGHTLY greener. Is it ever gonna recover?

What is your lighting situation? Food intake is supplemental to food generated by photosynthesis. The reason they have color is because of the cells that convert light to food. Your feedings are definitely keeping it healthy, but without sufficient lighting, the photosynthetic cells are going to have a hard time recovering.

    i have transferred it from a 22 gallon to a 190 gallon 2 months ago, it was under 4x 24w T5HO previously and it's now under 2 x 250w metal halides, i'm pretty sure it's enough for it ;)
    Is it recovering very slow?

Likely, it looks as if not much of the color was present when you got it, it would be pretty cool if it had an aberant color though. I don't believe white is a natural anemone color though :p
