i was just at a local lfs that had a pretty LTA for sale. it was light blue, then white (bleached i assume) then with green tips. there was a clownfish hosting it and it seemed ok, by ok i mean:

    mouth wasnt gaping

wasnt floating, it was on the sand

seemed to notice when the clownfish was in it

but it had some white in it (half the tentacle was white, the other half was a ight blue color.) any thoughts? im trying to get the pic i got of it, but im having trouble getting it through the email.

    It looks bleached to me.
When an anemone is white or mostly white, than it’s probably bleached. (But not always)

I know you said it still had a blue color, but it’s still very light. So I would say it is bleached. I would pas on it. If you do get it, it will take a lot of care to make it healthy again. And it would only have a 50/50 shot.

ok, so they also have a brownish green one, not as pretty but not bleached. i really like the blue one, if i can get it under my MH i think it may have a chance. i can do subsistance feeding until it gets full color then i can feed it normally. but it not decided yet.
