Blennie or Goby?

Cool! How did you get your mandarin to eat formula 2 pellets? My lawnmower prefer formula 2 pellets over anything.

 

I went ahead and got the Lawnmower Blenny. So far he is good to go after a week and I really like him. He is still kind of skittish during feeding time but he is out and about all of the time other than that.

Everyone has said the tank needs established algae for him to be happy. My tank has quite a bit of film type algae on the back glass with Blenny lip prints in it, is this the type of algae he prefers? I have some macro algae on a rock that he doesn't go near.

Awsome! Yes I too have the lip marks on the glass. They are great fish...be careful when they get older. Even though they dont have teeth...it scary why they nip at you, I almost pulled my tank over when I tried to run ha... My luck with fish has been pretty good...everything in my tank eats prepared foods, even my dragonets. Good Luck and post a pic as soon as you can snap one.
