Right now I have a tailspot blenny in QT and it's the funniest fish I've ever seen. It's eating so much right now(always foraging off glass and rock), he looks like he's pregnant. He's pooping every 30 seconds, literally.

He plays hide and seek with me. If I go up to the glass he scatters behind a pvc fitting, then I lower my head and he starts to peak over the fitting, I lower my head more and he keeps moving his head further up. I just see the top of his head follow me lmao.

I caught him earlier doing a skater impression in the inside center of the PVC fitting like it was a ramp...

He uses a small piece of dead rock I had left over and when he goes to hide, he rushes up to it, turns around, and slides in his hole tail first

I wish I could keep a whole bunch of these guys in a tank.

    You have any blenny stories?

I just got a tribal blenny and he tends to go out on foraging runs and then heads back to his sleeping spot. It tends to make a little run and then stop after taking a bite to eat. It will rest on nearly vertical spots for a moment or two.

a midas blenny is on my stocking list for sure. I have seen some comical things out of lawnmower blennies though. It seems like my lmb had to make his way into every picture I used to take. I'll see if I can find some later.

My smith's blenny is boring haha. Just swims around slowly, often sitting and waiting for food. He's lazy.

I have a Starry Blenny who routinely swims around the tank, picks up a hermit crab shell, swims around with it and drops it off in other spots.

I assume he thinks it's food, realizes it isn't, and then just drops it. But it's funny

I love my tail spot blenny!

He likes to "hover" outside his home. Until he sees me moving (and determines it's not food time)

Here he is poking his head out of his residence:

He may be timid... but he's the only one that'll stand up to the "Queen" Clownfish when she get's too noisy into his coral.
