I was moving water around using my new/used Mag 7 that came with my used protein skimmer. I heard it making some cavitating noises. I torn it apart & found that the ceramic shaft snapped. Where can I get one at a good price? I need an O ring as well since she's is cracking, but doesn't look like I can just order just an o ring. Any suggestions???

Not looking for a new pump, just new impeller kit / rebuild kit.. Just an update, I guess I will need a new pump cover as well. The center where the impeller locks into the front cover is showing wear.. :(

I had to buy some parts locally, check your yellow pages for any place that sells pond supplies they usually keep them in stock

Thanks for the finds... I did find them at one of my LFS, but I just broke one of the mounting posts that the front cover mounts to! :furious: Now going to attempt to glue the post back, if not I have to buy a new pump. :(

Thanks for the idea, I did find them at my LFS, amazing even cheaper than online. Now I just have one problem. I broken one of the mounting posts that hold the front cover & from the looks of it was already cracked. I just crazy glued the post back on & let it cure..

She's ALIVE!!! lol.. The crazy glue worked. I'll connect it back onto my protein skimmer for now & see how it holds up.

Yeah, it's either good or bad. I can't complain too much. The Mag 7 came with the used protien skimmer that I bought.

This is the setup I bought used. I listed what it costs new:
    AETECH Reef Devil Deluxe $249.00
Mag 7 as an upgrade $69.00
AquaC Auto Waste Collector 5 liters $115.00
    Totaling: $433.00 not counting shipping.

Bought this whole setup used for $140.00 SHIPPED! I'll deal with a bad pump.. lol.. Just have to find the good deals at times. Esspecially now...
