Blew Out my Mag 7, Need Help!

    All I have is a helpful hint for the o-ring, having worked at an auto parts place. Walk into your local Pepboys/Advance etc...wherever you choose and go to the parts counter. Bring the o-ring you need with you. They have master o-ring boxes and you can just match up and buy the one you need. Think cents instead of dollars.

    if you ever have an issue with a mag your running out of the tank for circulation and have a leak around the o-ring (common issue trust me) you can just rub vasoline on the o-ring, put it back together and it'll stop leaking until you have to take it apart again

    Good idea... Though, I do have food grade silicone that I bought when I rebuilt the seacocks on my boat last Spring. Trust me it was a pain to find too.. I have a friend that works in a bearing mfg plant in RI, when I asked him about it he knew what I was looking for. I bought 2 huge tubes! I couldn't use any petroleum base products, due to the fact it would eat the rubber in the seacock valve.
