    I like the idea of using an overflow to feed your closed loop. That will make sure things don't get sucked into the intake.

    mike - thanks for all the input.

    if i use the overflow to feed a closed loop, will there be air mixed into the return?

    what other type of intake designs do people use for closed loops?
