Blocked Drain - Not Sure Where To Post

    screw acetic acid. just get some full strength HCl..that'll knock it out.

    If nothing else works, you could put a stick of T.N.T down the drain, that would get rid of every last bit of the clog. :laugh3:

    Wow, wish I would have thought of that earlier!!!

    Take the waste & overflow cover off that is the plate up over the drain put a rag ii to that or use some duct tape to totally block that off then remove the [pop up from the drain shoe and plunge it out its in the trap and if you put any lye in their on top of the agragonite then you will have a solid concrete blocked 2" drain line . But you have to block off or plug that overflow plate or the plunger will not do anything and I doubt a 1/4 drain cable will do it and its not easy to use on a tub unless well experienced with rodding out lines and you have to go through that overflow hole down as you will never make the turn on the shoe conection at the overflow tee

    I decided TNT was a bit too expensive and hard to find....so I used the plunger and...voila:afro:
