The reason why I got a bit worried is because pretty much everyfish I own started eating pretty soon. Usually added them in the morning and would eat in afternoon. Or if to scared it would at least eat the food that was pretty close if he could catch it but the naso just looks and let's it go right by him. :-/
I'm hoping today after I get home from work he at least takes a bite.

My tang loves ocean nutrition formula two flakes. He goes nuts over them! Maybe try squirting a bit of those right in front of him. You can soak them in garlic too.

Flakes? I'll give a call to my lfs and see if they have that. It's worth a shot. Although idk when I'm going to be able to get it because I don't drive yet so I would have to pay taxi ( 20bucks + the food)

You could also try rubber banding some of the nori, cut it into strips, to a rock and drop it to the bottom of the tank. This replicates their more "natural" way of getting algae. If he was just caught recently he doesn't know what a veggie clip is......I had to do that with several of my tangs to get them started.

Yep! I was really surprised he took to flakes. Whenever I squirt them into the tank he goes nuts eating as fast as he can. Cute :)

You can try formula 1 flakes too. I use formula 2 because it has more algae in it, and my guy is a bristletooth.

Put some nori on a clip to distract the other tangs that are used to it.

I hope he starts eating before Friday! That's a long time. For now, try soaking the food in garlic and try nori. Rubberband it to the rocks in several different locations in the tank. Good luck!
