I have a Naso Tang whos name in nacho...lol she or he is about 3.5 or 4 inches long had it about 4 months. My wife was looking around and she wants to get a Blonde Naso Tang next. I was trying to tell her that I thought that they looked to much alike to get along. I have a 125 gallon tank and was wondering if this is big enough to keep both naso tangs happily in the same tank, or if she should find something else. Any input would be great thanks. also I just figured out the karma deal and I'm kinda k crazy now...

For two nasos you would probably long run want to have a bare minimum of 300g. I put a male in with my female. Bad juju is all I have to say on that end. If you are dead set on mixing the two I'd make sure the new tank is ready and add them at the same time. Nasos tend to after a move be very picky eaters if sometimes they don't eat at all after a transition. But sometimes they transition smoothly like any other fish. Took me 2 nasos prior before I got one that would eat. Best of wishes for you and your plans!

i think you are right. more than likely, they would not play well together.

We'll have to pass on a bigger tank. I just wanted to make sure before she talked me into going down a bad road. The naso I have now eats very well, it eats the most of all the fish.

even a 125 can be too small for a naso as they grow. I know my 180 is most likely too small for my 8" naso now. and yes, I would not add another to that tank. that is asking for trouble.
