    Can someone please tell me the difference between fire shrimp pair an just a regular fish pair. I just bought a pair of blood red fire shrimp pair and would like to know if they will run around together like clownfish or just be like regular shrimp???? Also, will they lay eggs because they are a pair or not?? And, is their a difference between a mated pair and a pair of shrimp?? They will come by fedex on tuesday from liveaquaria. please help!!

    they are just two shrimp that are mature enough to reproduce. They can actually produce eggs and fertilize them individually so there is no technical need for a pair. they should hang out together in your tank however

    yes you don't need two for eggs. i have one skunk cleaner shrimp and it lays eggs all the time.
