So, 29 gallon BioCube. Eventually, we'd like a pair of clownfish, maybe a mandarin fish and perhaps one more small fish (not sure what yet)... would also like a starfish (unknown which yet), corals, and maybe an anemone.

I'm wondering, since apparently these two shrimp won't get along well in the tank, which would be better? I've heard that the scarlet skunk shrimp may steal food more frequently than the blood shrimp and that it's really piggish. The 29 gallon BioCube doesn't have a ton of places to hide, so I'm not really too worried about that. Anyway, input valued!

you can keep them together; just need lots of rock. I'd pick the blood shrimp

well, in almost every attempt ive seen at trying to keep 2 different species of cleaner one always dies because the other killed it.

Further specifics, there's about 20 gallons of live rock in the tank right now... and will probably get closer to 30 by the time it's "done" (is it ever? lol).

Now, I also don't want a shrimp that'll steal food from my fish. I want more of a scavenger.

my scarlet cleaner shrimp only eats food that he takes from my corals other than that he will only scavenge maybe a few minuts right after i feed the rest of the day he stays on top of my rock. ive never had a blood shrimp but when i see them in stores it seems like they walk around on the sand more looking for food.

I have a peppermint, a standard cleaner (not sure whether atlantic or pacific), and a blood in my 55(ish) and they're all cool together, even with the coral banded shrimp.
