Blotchy Yellow - eye kole tang

Can anyone help in telling me what may be wrong with my kole tang? Its body has a lot of pale blotches - not present when I bought it a month or so ago. It is eating well - almost anything I give it. Doesn't look like Ich to me but I am new to marine fish keeping.

The paler blotches seen on the photo are over most of its body.

It's not ick, but it doesn't look good.....I know koles can change in coloring or at least I've seen it happen from darker to lighter and the like. Unfortunately, I have not been lucky with them. If yours is eating, maybe the blotches are just a sign of stress?? Just keep an eye on it - perhaps others can chime in....have you checked the threads on fish diseases?

 

My blue eyed kole tang just did them same thing. I did have an Ich outbreak going, but was never convinced thats what cause it. I saved it with selcon soaked nori sheets and good food/over feeding and some WC's

Hard to tell, It may be marine velvet... Pics just a bit fuzzy to look at it and decide.
