I don't think it is based on the shape of the first rock, and it almost looks spongey on the second one.

but blue coralline is definitely possible.

I vote for sponge... however coraline is possible!
I have seen purple, pink, red, maroon, orange, green, brown, grey, and off white before

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Sponge gets my vote as well.

You can tell for sure by touchng it. Coralline is not easily removed.

It doesn't come off from the rock it is hard. It is actually the inside part of the rock , like the inside of a tree bark kind off, the little piece in the front, may be a sponge . I like it dough it looks cool
    Thanks

It doesn't come off because it IS blue ridge coral. The skeleton is blue.

Sorry. I've turned into a crabby old fart in recent days. I could have used more "finesse" in disagreeing with previous posters.

You saw it for what it is ;D

I was sure it was sponge, had not even entered my mind that it was a blue ridge. While I used to see the dead skeletons everywhere several years ago, I just do not see it much anymore. Good thing I suppose.

Anyway when your right, your right, inwall.
