Blue Damsel Question

    Do Blue Damsels breef in captivity????

    Cuz' I'd share one of mine is carrying....


    Second question, what is the expected life span of a Blue Damsel???

    I made the mistake starting out with two.... I know... I have learned....

    These two are a year old in my tank...

    I think damsels can and do breed in captivity. Lifespan I would guess at around 8 to 10 years based on the same span for chromis.

    We shall see.... I may well have baby damsels.... that would just be justice for my initial mistake.... of all the fish I'd like to breed, they would be the last....

    Damsels are probably close to clownfish when it comes to breeding - fairly easy as far as SW fish go.
