Ok so I have 2 blue damsels, I just introduced 2 anthia bartlets and guess what is happening ?

    Yup, I have a war !

So if I leave them will they settle, I have the lights off, or should I pull the blue damsels out and leave the in my QT for a week or 2 when I put them back, they would be the "new boys" ?

I would put them in QT and/or move the rocks around. Good luck catching them, though ;)

If this was my set-up. If its getting really aggressive, and its been more than a day, I would take the damsels out.

Don't know about the anthia's personality, but when I first introduced my 3-stripe damsel, both the yellow tail and domino wanted a piece of him- until he chased both of them for a few laps around the tank. They learned quickly to stay in their place and give him his. lol

Damsels out permanently if you have anything less than a 300g, IMO.

They certainly are tough old fish, I had one in a freshwater dip last week for over 3 hours. They will always win. They are like evil Spartans.

As damsels mature, they get meaner and more established so you can barely put anything new in there. They will be the last thing to ever die....

So my regal tang is swimming between the anthia's and the damsels, he honestly looks like he is corralling the damsels away from the anthia's

    Like a big brother :)

LOL anything is possible. My Regal would try to protect any Chromis I introduced to my tank from my Royal Gramma.

So the devils have been in the tank for about 6 months, is it possible to get them to play nicely with the others ? I am quite prepared to remove them and leave them in the QT for the rest of their lives is necessary, I really like the fish I don't want to lose them, but . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . May have to :-(
