It is highly unlikely they will play nicely with others as has been stated by others. I strongly suggest they go to your sump or refuge even if they are large enough for the fish. Do keep in mind the fishes needs when you rehome them.

It not about playing nice. It's a part of their makeup to be highly territorial with an aggressive social order of their own. As far as they are concerned, if they don't have those traits, they are dead or dateless.

Damsel species can cohabitate if they are able to establish an order and the environment is right.

They are out in my QT tank, my friend (1000 gallon reef) says they won't make any impact on his set up, so tomorrow they are goimg on their holidays, he also imports and sells fish, so maybe they will get a new new home :)
Couldn't see any harm coming to them, I am a little annoyed that these are the 3rd fish that a very well known fish store sold me with no warning, they always ask what else is in the tank and a list the players off.

Make a sale, or keep a customer ? This is why the whole world is in such a mess, think for today, and no plan for tomorrow.

Thanks for your help advice and continued support, my brothers of the reef.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Appropriately named for their mannerism as they become mature.

I have had Yellow tails that seemed a tad more passive.

There is a hierarchy with regard to territory. When a few Damsels are placed in smaller tanks, once territories are established any fish entering that territory will face aggression.

No saltwater fish of this world could tolerate a 3 hour freshwater dip...... they are demon spawn.

I stopped trusting any of my LFS's around me a long time ago and learned to trust 3Reef, they've never steered me wrong, Ingtar keeps trying to break up my relationship by pushing $1000 fish on me, but other that that, always great advice;)
