Anybody have any expirience with these guys? I have a female who likes schooling fish but I want something different that your run of the mill cardinal. I heard the blue-streak doesn't ship well and may be a picky eater, but thats about it.

They are very cool under blue LED moonlights. I've never had issues with eathing once acclimated but they don't ship very well. Make sure you have a good stress relieving product to add to their water during acclimation.

my plan is to get a LFS to order them from ORA so I dont need to deal with it. Then I can keep them in one of thier tanks to see if they recover for a week or two. WHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

There have been a bunch of red spot cardinals (I think that's the common name, something like that anyway), coming through LiveAquaria's Diver's Den lately. I've heard that a number of people who have gotten theirs from there have had good results with shipping.

I had blue eyed cardinals a while back. Under the normal lights they are very bland in my opinion and not all that attractive. However, moon lights come on and you can see the awesome color! It is a fish that I definately want to get again someday.

Shipping is a problem with these fish. If they can make it through shipping and get acclimated then they will do well.

You will want to get odd number of fish....1,3,5, etc.

Another fish that I thought was very cool was the lemonpeel cardinal. They added a little more color to a tank.

Couldn't find anything on a lemonpeel cardinal but my LFS orders their clowns and a few gobies from ORA so they are going to look into getting my my school. I'm looking to get five which should be good for my 55gal then I dont have to worry about fish or my female unit telling me to get her schooling fish anymore lol
