blue hermit crab?

I was thinking about getting a blue hermit crab, does anybody have any advise on how to take care of them? what food and how often? should i add extra calcium to my aquarium water?

 

Liveaquaria.com has a great breakdown on all of the CuC members and fish they sell. As long as sufficient algae is present, there is no need to feed them. If not, you can supplement their diet with dried seaweed. I have 15 in a 55 gallon that has cycled. I occassionally put a bit of seaweed down in the sandbed and it is gone in the morning.
