    Hippos are ICK factories.

    Young ones are fragile and not very hardy at all...

    This is one fish that you are better off not getting a small juvenile of.

    Stress of a community tank will usually result in ICK or worse.

    If you really have to have one, invest in a more mature specimen and give good stay in QT with some Cu treatment added.
