So a new pet store opened up in my area and I stopped in this morning. The guy that owns it has hippo tangs that are about an inch and a half long. He told me he has one of them at home in a 30 gallon tank and says that its ok to put them in a tank that small. Whats everyones take on this>

yea maybe when its small but not when its full grown its kinda mean to do that and tangs require alot of swiming room and also they are very prone to ich and it will have a hire of chance of getting it cause its in such a small tank.

If your gonna try it i would only do like 1 or 2 other fish with it. and make sure to add it last. Its unbelievably easy to stress them out.

+1 on waiting to get the tang until after you upgrade. Also, your coral beauty can be very aggressive and territorial. I can almost guarantee that there will be some fighting between the angel and the tang. That will stress out the tang and bring on the ick. IMO
