    Hey all!

I just added 2 blue hippo tangs to my QT, my clownfish are now out and back in the MT. Lucky them! So about 3 hours ago I added the hippos to my QT and they are alive but acting VERY wierd. One is in a dead coral just sitting in it, not moving at all! But it's alive for now. The other is laying flat on the bottom of the tank, also alive.

What the heck? :) The clowns were doing just fine in there, these guys are acting like they are about to die!

    :-[ <-------NERVOUS!!!

Crazy fish I tell ya, the're acting much more normal now. Perhaps they were shocked a bit from the environment change :)

These guys are prone to playing dead when you first introduce them.
Pretty scarry the first time you witness it :)

When I had one it would always lay flat on a rock every moring for an hour after the lights came on.

+2 Most Tangs do that on a regular basis. Just give them time. Weird... ;D

Just wait till they settle in to your tank and you check on them at night. They tend to lay on their side under a rock and turn pale when they go to sleep. You'll think they are dying.
