I have a blue-jaw trigger. It has had a bump on its cheek, about a 1CM away from its mouth, for about a month now. I thought it would go away on its own, but it has not. It currently has a white head on it, and while he was eating it actually appeared as if some of it squeezed out as he was eating.

    What am I dealing with?

That I am not sure. How does it look today?

Definitely make sure that the fish is well fed with high quality food and supplements to strengthen its immune system. I think iodine might help with keeping the infection from getting worse and could help with healing. You will need to catch the fish and apply it directly.

It always looks the same. never a change.

Eats wide variety of food, including hand chopped squid. Sometimes food is soaked in Selcon.
