blue led's and poylp corals

    hello in my tank i have a button polyp frag with about 30 heads and when turn my blue leds on the polyps turn neon orange.why does this happen.
    my lighting system is coralife t5 lunar light w/ 2 blue leds.

    the led is just a different spectrum that makes the orange show more.
    your button polyps dont change color when the leds are on them, they just look different.

    The zoa's contain zoxanthellae algae which fluoresces color depending on the spectrum.

    Think of it as looking at black light posters or neon paint in a room lit with a black light lamp.
