Possibly a silly question but want to cover all bases. Will leaving my blue leds on at night be an issue for corals? I didn't know if this would interfere with any rest period they might need.

Why leave them on all night? Put them on a timer so they are out when you are sleeping. My turn on at 6 in the morning and turn off at 11 pm.

My corals start opening under just blue LEDs so I have to assume they wouldn't like to have them on all the time.

Algae! I realized my blue LED moonlights were giving light to algae. The lights were on the left side of my T5 unit. The algae was almost all on the left side of my tank. Cyano, green algae, etc. I was leaving them on all night for a few months, just stopped. Did not harm my corals - it was over sps, lps, and zoas.
