    WELL YOU DONT NEED A REFUGIUM BUT YOU COULD JUST RAISE THEM IN A SEPARATE SMALL TANK ALTOGETHER by buying some live ones and feeding them phytoplankton. I'd use like an acrylic wall to separate the tank in 2 sides to create 2 cultures.

    Sorry on the loss. It would appear the problem most likely stems from before you got the fish.

    also you have to let the fuge do its thing for a few months. you can finish and run out to get a new one. let it set in for a few months like 4 or 5 and let the pods pop grow back

    Yes that is deff the plan ill seed some pods in there also.

    Seeding is a good idea. Once the fuge is going well you can seed the tank at night after everyone has gone to bed also.

    If you, or anyone else, have a chance to get another, try feeding it Nutramar Ova. I started using it because it was one of the frozen foods that the ORA Mandarins ate. It took a little bit for them to take to it, but they love the stuff.
