blue/ purple mushroom

hi all i donno if this is an emergency or not i got this blue mushroom frag (1 polyp) couple of days ago. by the time i got home it was detached from the plug it was on. so i super glued it to a rock in my dt after acclimation, it was doing fine yesterday but today i found it on the same rock but in a different location. i did not pock it to see if its attached or not i thought to ask b4 doing anything. should i glue it again? or it will attach itself?

 

I'm pretty sure you should never put glue directly on the tissue of anything in the tank... It should re-attach itself in time. I've heard of people using thread to "sew"/hold shrooms to rockwork. I have moved a few shrooms and they have always grabbed back onto the rock as long as my current wasn't blowing them around. Goodluck

super glue works just fine. only problem is that shrooms release a mucus and dont allow the glue to hold

mushrooms will re-attatch but only in a place with low flow so it dosn't get disturbed. try a plastic cup with rubble and put the shroom in it. the cup will block the flow and the shrrom will attatch in 3 days

 

if u r worried just get a little mesh wrap around the rock and mushroom and use an elastic band to keep mesh on..now the mushroom wont float away and will attach in its own time.
crazy glue works fine but mushrooms have a tendency to slime off of it so it never worked for me as the other method always does..gl
