    Eh, be careful with the glass top. It's not just the heat build to worry about, it's also the lack of gas exchange. Essentially, you could suffocate your tank.

    Yeah, I mean, it might be a problem, depending on whether you have a sump. You could always drill a couple holes in the glass/acrylic, but they need to be pretty small and numerous because of the BSJF, and that makes the drilling hard to do without cracking or breaking the glass/acrylic.

    Well I have a 2 1/2 gap along the entire back and my sump is completly open.

    Probably fine with the open sump. Just keep an eye on your fish for the first couple days - they'll let you know if anything is wrong.

    Now if I could just get this thing to eat. I have no idea how I'm going to do it. I mean it wont even see the food...

    Mine didn't eat until it had a temporary burrow. It mostly ate Instant Ocean omnivore gel, and frozen mysis shrimp.
