blue spotted ray

Well, it will eat crabs and shrimp. If your sand got dirty you could use a queen conch. I have never seen them eat snails but maybe they do.

Please make a thread and post pictures on everything you do. I am very interested in how this goes. I will never do it but still you have my full attention!

 

haha i will from start to finish, i will call my glass guy tomorrow and see if i can get a better idea of when it will be here. but shouldnt be any more then 7 days. i have most of the other things i need to get me going

 

ok so i have my tank almost 90% complete, i have sand and rock and the first 5 inhabitants, YT blue damsel, the very first marine fish i had ever bough haha have not been able to kill it, its been through 3 upgrades, a hippo tang a yellow tang and 2 green chromis (prob get another 3) i still need to move a few more things across and then order the stingray, so my question for you knowledgeble folk out there is, how fast wil the ray grow? (pics are coming i promise haha)

sorry, i have no idea how fast rays grow but i can tell you this is the first thread i have subscribed to...... please dont let me down, i want to see some pics

 

haha i am ringing fish shops as we speak trying to find one i can pic up a ray from within the next 2 weeks so is getting very close

 

ok guys finally got my ray, after a lot of searching haha i have had her in the tank for about 24 hours she swims around a bit but mostly hiding under the sand. i have yet been able to get her to eat, so any advice there would be super handy. in all she seems fairly relaxed but as this is my first ray im having i would not have a clue what normal is so again advice is readily accepted. she is just over 3 inches in diamater so still a bub.
