hey guy i will get some pictures of the tank once the lights come on for now i have a pic of the tank without the ray or Raylene as my girlfriend named her. i have moved rock around to make more space for her since this pic as for where i picked it up from, that was an lfs about 5 hours away. i have bought almost everything i own from him but he seemed to be more into corals and reef safe fish, hadnt been there since easter, i walk on in and he has a predator tank with 2 rays in it. that after about a month of ringing just about every fish shop in a 700km radius. So back to my question anyone got any theories on getting it to eat, i have raw table shrimp, cooked shrimp, squid tubes i have tried some fresh, and some i soaked with a clove of garlic and saltwater.

anyone at all? i have been using a pointed rod, piercing the food and holding it near her, even tried pushing bits of meat into the sand around her, im considering trying to put some under her with my hand, but im a little nervous about that one, im trying my best not to disturb her though as i dont want her to stress

I have had many fresh water rays never salt but they have all been fussy when getting used the tank. I personally would not even attempt a blue spotted ray in anything less then 250g. The way I always had to feed my rays were to let the foor settle on the bottom and they would not touch it if they saw me(until The associated me with food). Rays are tough to keep and tougher to get to be comfortable. How big is it?

about 3 inches across its back plus the tail. so about a 1/4 full size. i will be trying everything but if i fail it will be the only attempt at a ray.

I'd suggest dropping some food and then leaving. I have no experience with rays, but stressed fish prefer people not peering in right away IME. It may just go for a little bit of food, if your other fish don't get it first(?). How long ago was the ray put into the tank?
