ok lights were out for about 20 mihns when i put the food in, which consited off a piece of squid, and a small mussell without the shell soaked in garlic and one mussell not soaked in anything, and i left the room with all the lights out for about 40 mins, np she has moved and one mussell is missing but im not sure if she has stirred it from where i pushed it into the sand and the currents taken it behind some rocks, but i cant find it, so hopefully she has taken it

well im still not sure if she took the mussell or if it ended up in the filtration, but watching her in the dark last night she seemed to be sifting the sand in certain spots with her face so hopefully she is tracking down worms or something along those lines, i have a handfull of freshwater shrimp o hand to toss in tonight as the lights go out

Beautiful. Are you sure there's enough room in there, tank doesn't seem wide enough / a bit much rock?

its 5x2x2 and 2 rock islands. they only take up about 3 square feet leaving about 7 for her of bottom area. and the rocks are set down low so she has plenty of open areas for swimming

hi gexx nothing new as yet, she isnt taking to anything im putting in the tank so i have organised 15 or so live saltwater shrimp, as she didnt like the frshwater ones, and will try them. she does seem to be picking things from the rock and the sand. you can see her blowing into the sand in certain areas and spends a lot of time moving about the rocks where the join the sand. she seems healthy and is getting more and more comfortable with me watching her so fingers crossed she has enough stuff in the tank to feed off until i get the feeder shrimp
