Where i live (north florida) we often get tropicals that come from the caribbean in the spring and summer and die in the winter when it gets cold. Yesterday i came home with (what my best guess is) two bluehead wrasse, a male and a female. im not 100% sure what kind of wrasse they are yet, but definetly worth keeping though, as blueheads are pretty uncommon around here. The male has an awesome half blue head, half green/yellow body with a solid black border in the middle. This is unusual because the border on most bluehead wrasse goes black bar, white bar, black bar; i have yet to see a true bluehead wrasse with a solid black bar in the middle like the one i have.
also, the female is not yellow like most intermediate phase female blueheads. she is white with a couple black stripes running horizontally.

i have searched online and found nothing on another type of wrasse that might look like a bluehead...any guesses?

this is just for reference... the middle bar on mine is solid black, NOT like the one in this photo.
