i just did some tests and got mag 1200, cal 380-400 kh 7-8 wooahh !!
honestly all my corals are open and look good. so im not in a panic about it but i need to get them up asap.

thing is i added 3 shot glasses of epson salt(for mag) like a day ago, did not raise very much. and ive been adding seachem reef carbonate(for kh), and seachem reef complete(calcium, stontium, mag, mostly calcium ) it says on both not to use more than 2 capfuls in 24 hours, well this does absolutely nothing to raise my levels,

so this is were yall come in,i need help getting my parims to norm.
what should i use to get my parims up.? how should i use it?

    i got a 60 gal display, 80 gal total system. 10-12 corals soft/lps
    (and one sps birdsnest)

with weekly water changes the parims stayed pretty good for a while but with the new lights and bulbs+growth+ more corals they are consuming everything alot faster. also hoping if i get my parims back up it will help me in my gha battle.

oh yeah and some how i wiped the ml marks off of the syringe in my brand new used twice salfert mag test.

Bulk Reef Supply's 2 Part Additive product is $10.99. It comes with dry goods to produce a gallon each of Alk. and Ca. liquid, and a small bottle of Mg. solution.

Thing is, you can't raise one of the above without the other two being at least close to correct. I tried to unsucessfully raise my Ca. for months until I learned it was a lack of Mg. that was preventing Ca. from going up, despite adding lots of Ca. supplement.

It's not that hard, you just have to get these 3 parameters in line together, not individually.

If you buy the Two Part Additive from Bulk Reef Supply, use the calculator on their page and it will tell you how much of each to add. You do need decent test kits for the three, though.

    Good luck!!

Thanks for mentioning this site, I have the same problem and was looking for an easy way to up my levels, I have just read through this site and the products and am going with the 2 part kit, with an extra order of Mg. should only cost me $20. Their calculators you mentioned are also very useful as well as they have great directions and very clear product discriptions. Thanks again!

The Big Question is what do you want your Levels to be. There not that bad right now.
In terms of NSW your bang on the money

In my case, i want my levels to be Mg 1400ppm, dkh 12 and Ca 450. My numbers are similar to BluePhish's, but I would like to have optimum levels and I have asked around on this site and these seem to be a pretty good concensus on approximate numbers
