Thanks 2in10, future plans include a RKL Lv3 which will give me a total of 12 outlets and a SL1 with the ability to add a NET module in the future. I also plan two peristaltic dosing pumps and an air lifter for ATO. After seeing these EVOS perform I plan on adding two more of them also

I didn't get a RK, but I did get a ACIII. Controllers are awesome!

have you noticed any reaction from the corals to this more random flow/ less continual pattern?

A dosing pump and ATO are next on my equipment purchase list and then a controller.

As far as polyp extension and overall health I havent noticed any extreme differences. This will be day three so Im sure it will take months to even notice a change in growth rate. The fish seem to enjoy it though and "ride the waves" occasionally.

How do you like that coralife skimmer? I have the same one and from what everyone says there junk. Mine has been modded with a new bigger 400gph pump but it pulls out some nasty skimmate so I dont seem to have a problem with it. Just kinda wondering what your feelings are on it.

Well it has its days. If I tweak it just right and leave it for a week it can fill the cup with some nasty stuff. The way I look at it when Im done with all my other upgrades such as the dosing pumps and ATO then Im gonna look into prob a SWC skimmer

Just a quick update. I have seemed to notice a small improvment in overall coral health. Also, since the addition of the new PH my routine Mag-Float duties have been sliced in half.

I'm treating myself to an RKL with my tax return. In regards to the wavemaker functions on the evo's, are they just switched on/off or is it proportionally controlled? If it is On/off,can you hear the powerheads in the tank when switched on? Just wondering because of I unplug and plug back in my PH's they make noise coming on. Thanks.
