Kinda fuzzy, but as most of you know I suck at taking pics of the tank!

Nice to see an addition to the tank. That way I know you are still interested in it. :)

Scott, I gotta admit I've been struggling, but this fish and the excitement has already got me goin again! I finally got tired of waiting on PA to get a fish I want in, so I got him at Uncle Bills. Payed an extra 15 bones but oh well. He seems to be doin great, and I've recently had a small algae bloom so it was time. He did nip at my Nassarius' antenna and foot, has yours ever done that? I'm hopin it was due to stress...

He is probably hungry and was just picking algae off the snails shell. Wait a couple weeks and get you another algae eater. Decembers meeting is at your place, not going to cut out on us are you??

The December meeting is on me. I'm think about the middle of the month, I'll have to check with my event planner (the wife) and see. He was being kinda aggressive and there is plenty of stinkin algae for him, I think he was just being stressed and started pickin at em. I'm thinkin that for my next fish I might get a sand sifting goby, any advice anyone?? I want to see what he will do with the algae first and not get too many grazers in a 55, I'm sure I'll hear it from the "by the books" guys the way it is. If he can't keep up a tang is in my future...;D

Cool new addition bm. I've had 3 in my marine hobby life. Probably won't own one again. Glad I have though. Just be careful when you are digging around in your tank. They tend to "dart randomly/sporadically" with their spines ready to rock. That's how I got stung anyways.

LOL I've been reading up on that. Did you get ill or did it just sting? Due to stress he's had them out a lot, but I've been careful. I like him so far... adds a lot to my tank since I only have a clown and mandarin besides him... I'm not sure the mandarin is going to make it, I've even dosed pods and he still looks skinny. If he kicks the bucket I'm gonna wait awhile to get another one.

When/if you pick a new mandarin, check for a sunken belly.;)

Mine seemed pretty fat when I got him, but he's gone anorexic since. I even dosed some pods to make sure he has plenty of food to no avail. The rest is in God's hands I guess!!

Premium will special order fish for you, but they have this weird policy that you can't pick up orders on Saturday.
