Then what killed yours?!? Ha, j/k.

I would think that with me dosing pods and him still not eating, there was something else going on. Kris, didn't you say yours plumped up temporarily after dosing pods in the QT? Oh well, I'm not happy about it but I'm not too tore up about it either, I'm just glad I fished him out before he rotted in there. I'm thinking a tang will be in my near future... either a hippo or naso. Any suggestions out there??

I think my rotten personality killed mine.

Yea mine plumped up for a bit but then got skinny again and finally disappeared.

I don't know what I'd say about the tangs. Maybe just personal preference on which one you like.

I was thinkin about a powder brown but I've heard they are a huge pain to acclimate. Definitely no powder blue at this point. Anyone got tips on getting a brown to survive the transition?

I would have probably picked the brown over the blue also. I've never heard anything about them being sensitive to acclimation. I've never really looked either. What's the general consensus?

Just that they are very ick prone. Some claim that if you look at them they get it! I know Kogle had one die on him. If you search it just about everyone says they are touchy... I might try, I haven't decided yet!

I've never had a problem with them, it's all in the diet and water conditions. KOgle has my Powder Blue now. I just caught him in a fish trap tonight and transferred him. My next one is a Achilles and he would not get along with the PB.

Powder brown might be my next one then. I don't think the Foxface will keep up by himself, and worse comes to worse I can supplement. Any issues with the Foxface and a PB getting along? I believe Scott told me it wouldn't be an issue, but half the stuff I look up says they can be agressive and the other half says no. I got some more birthday money to be spending so a tang, maybe a clam and some Trochus snails are in the near future!!;D

Hang on to your money for next friday after Thanksgiving and you can go with me and KOgle to a new store in Indy I found. I am trying to set up a time now as he is a online dealer that takes appointments for walk-ins. He has 1,500g at his house. :)

Sounds like a plan! What is his website?? I couldn't imagine his prices being much better than PA but if the selection is better it would be worth the trip!
