Hey buddy you said it was a juvenile ? just how juvenile is it ad does it seem to be interested in food ? Also did you treat the sjipping bag ? and was it thick and healthy looking ? If you get eathing it will be fine I'm sure the oddenium is not passed 8 weeks . Is what everything I have ever ben told was what it took to fade out from lack of a host .. I always go twelve .

It is probably 3"-4" long and I haven't tried to feed it anything yet, I have just been observing it and have seen it picking at rocks a couple times but not constantly yet like my previous tang or Foxface. What would you suggest I try feeding it first? I bought some Seachem copper treatment at the LFS and put a couple drops in the bag before they sealed it up. I think the guy there thought that was kinda weird, you could tell he had not had anyone do that before! It does look healthy, after I got him home I did notice a small peice out of his bottom fin but not a large one. So far he is swimming around good, has good color and no signs of ick or any other parasite. I went 12 weeks without any fish so hopefully it is long gone!!

I just read through this thread, you got some bad algae. Looks like your doing everything right now. Hope it turns out well, keep your hopes up and persist.
